Job Description
Batemans Bay District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a six-week contract from 5 October to 16 November ****.
This is an excellent chance to contribute to a busy ED environment while working with a dedicated clinical team in a regional NSW setting.
The role offers the chance to practise high-acuity nursing across a range of emergency presentations in a supportive healthcare setting.
Six-week contract placement in a regional emergency department
Hands-on experience across triage, resuscitation, and acute patient care
Work alongside an established ED team in Batemans Bay, NSW
Preferred Requirements
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification




Demonstrated competence in emergency triage assessment
Proficiency in cannulation and venepuncture techniques
Experience with ventilation support and acute respiratory management
Solid clinical judgment and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ED environment
Preferred Qualifications
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in emergency nursing
Additional emergency-focused certifications (such as TNCC or ENCC) are advantageous
