Looking to spend your summer by the coast while working in a fast-paced hospitality environment? We are seeking
Kitchen Hands
to join a busy food service operation in
Blairgowrie, VIC
for the peak summer season.

This is a fantastic prospect to secure consistent full-time hours over the holiday period and work within a supportive team delivering quality food to customers.

Casual employment with consistent hours

Seasonal role from
20 December through to the end of January
n
7-day operation
n
Regular rostered shifts:
11:00am - 7:00pm
n
Work in a vibrant coastal location
n
Immediate start available
n
Key Responsibilities n
n
Assist with preparation of food items, including basic ingredient preparation and portioning.
n
Operate fryers and assist with cooking fish, chips and other menu items.
n
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils and food preparation areas.
n
Wash dishes, cooking equipment and utensils.
n
Receive, store and rotate stock in line with food safety requirements.
n




Support the Chef and wider team during busy service periods.
n
Follow food handling, hygiene and workplace safety procedures at all times.
n
Skills & Experience n
To be successful, you will ideally have:
n
n
Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand, Food Preparation Assistant, Fast Food Team Member or similar.
n
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
n
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
n
Strong reliability and punctuality.
n
A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a small team.
n
Availability to work weekends and public holidays throughout the summer period.
n
