The Role n
We're seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor/Team Lead to take ownership of a $7 million brownfield upgrade project, with the majority of works focused on road construction. This is a permanent, site-based leadership role reporting into the Project Manager, with a start available within 4 weeks for the right person.

This role requires genuine, proven experience managing a team — leading crews from the top down, coordinating with Project Managers, Engineers and subcontractors, not simply working within a team structure.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Lead and manage on-site crews, operators, labourers and subcontractors across the project
n
Oversee delivery of road works in line with project specifications and relevant standards
n
Coordinate plant, materials, resources and programming to maintain productivity and progress
n
Manage day-to-day site operations including safety, quality and environmental compliance
n




Liaise closely with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
n
Conduct inductions, toolbox talks, pre-starts and ongoing safety management
n
Monitor works against program, budget and quality requirements
n
About You n
n
Road works experience is essential
— ideally including VicRoads/Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) exposure
n
Proven team leadership and crew management experience
— you must have genuinely led a team, not just worked within one
n
Strong understanding of civil construction methodology, safety and compliance requirements
n
Confident working with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and clients
n
Relevant tickets and qualifications for site-based civil supervision
n
A strong reputation and established track record within the civil construction industry
n
