About the Role:
As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you'll play a key role in attracting and securing great talent to deliver services for the Townsville community.
Working closely with hiring managers across Council, you'll provide end-to-end recruitment support, partnering with stakeholders to deliver productive, customer-focused recruitment outcomes while building strong and trusted relationships.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll provide expert advice on recruitment best practice, support campaign strategy, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checking and onboarding activities.
You'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, deliver recruitment training and help shape a positive, outcomes-focused recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Experience delivering end-to-end recruitment services
Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills
Sound knowledge of employment legislation and industrial instruments
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience mentoring, guiding or coordinating others
Proficiency using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
A Certificate IV in Human Resources (or equivalent experience)
A current C Class Driver Licence
