Maxima has a large number of vacancies for motivated Labourers, who want to develop their skills, gain valuable industry experience and build a long-term career.

Working through Maxima, you will initially commence on a casual basis, generally for a maximum period of up to 6 months, with the chance to transition to a position directly with council.
n
With Council depots located at Boonah, Beaudesert and Canungra, every effort will be made to place you at a depot that is as close to home as possible.
About the Roles n
Opportunities are available across Civil Works and Parks & Gardens Maintenance, giving you the opportunity to develop practical skills while working as part of a professional Council team.
n
Working a 76-hour fortnight (Over 9 days) with the possibility of overtime.
n
Duties include:
n
n
Road signs and road furniture maintenance
n
Cold mix bitumen pothole patching
n
Operating and assisting with plant and equipment
n
Traffic control and work zone activities
n
Supporting experienced operators and tradespeople
n

Minimum Skills and Experience n
To be successful in attaining a role, you will need to have:

An MR Truck Licence (or higher)
n
The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including Drug and Alcohol screening
n
Fitness level to undertake outdoor labouring duties
n
A willingness to learn and grow as part of a team
n
A commitment to working safely
n
