nWe're partnering with a leading specialist claims and legal services organisation that manages complex insurance claims on behalf of Australia's largest insurers. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint a Claims Account Managers to join their established teams.n
nThis is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging claims, manage your own portfolio, and build your expertise within a collaborative and supportive environment.n
nWho we're looking forn
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
n
n
n
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and at least 2 year post-graduate experience within insurance claims, OR
n
Strong Motor/Property Claims experience (law degree not required for motor claims specialists)
n
Experience working for an insurer, underwriting agency, claims management business, legal practice or loss adjusting organisation
n
Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
n
The ability to assess liability, interpret policy coverage and drive claims through to resolution
n
Experience managing one or more of the following claim types:

Public Liability
n
Professional Indemnity & Cyber
n
Property & Motor
n
n

Responsibilities include:
n
n
n
Managing an end-to-end portfolio of complex insurance claims
n
Assessing liability, indemnity and financial exposure
n
Setting and reviewing reserves
n
Developing effective claims strategies to achieve timely and commercial outcomes
n
Liaising with insurers, brokers, insureds, lawyers, investigators and external service providers
n
Negotiating settlements and resolving disputes
n
Identifying recovery opportunities where appropriate
n
Preparing high-quality reports and recommendations for clients
n
Maintaining excellent client relationships through proactive communication
n
Managing a busy portfolio while consistently delivering service excellence
n
