To Be Considered, You Will Need:
n
For Registered Nurses:
n
n
Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Previous experience working in an Australian aged care facility (placements are not considered)
n
n
For Personal Care Workers:
n
n
Relevant Australian aged care qualification, such as Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
n
Previous experience working in an Australian aged care facility (placements are not considered)
n
n
For All Applicants:
n
n
2 COVID-19 vaccinations + booster
n




Current Flu vaccination
n
Valid Police Check within the last 12 months
n
100 points of ID
n
Valid Australian work rights
n
Current CPR & First Aid
n
NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
n

What You Will Be Doing
n
Registered Nurses:
n
n
Provide high-quality clinical care to residents
n
Monitor and document residents' health and wellbeing
n
Assist with medication administration
n
Monitor nutrition and assist with meal consumption
n
Maintain infection prevention and control standards
n
Follow a holistic, person-centred model of care
n
Assist with resident admissions and transitions
n
Liaise with residents, families, doctors and allied health professionals
n
Work in accordance with aged care standards and policies
n
n
Personal Care Workers:
n
n
Provide personal care and support to residents
n
Assist with showering, dressing, grooming and other daily activities
n
Assist residents with mobility and transfers
n
Support residents with meals and hydration
n
Observe and report changes in residents' health and wellbeing
n
Promote residents' dignity, independence and choice
n
Maintain infection prevention and control procedures
n
Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals
n
Provide compassionate, person-centred care at all times
n
