About the Role
n
An exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Emergency Medicine clinician to support the Clinical Director in the leadership, governance, and operational management of a modern regional Emergency Department. You will provide senior clinical oversight, contribute to workforce planning, support quality and safety initiatives, and mentor junior medical staff while maintaining a clinical workload. International candidates can be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Support leadership and operational management of the Emergency Department.
n
Provide senior clinical care and supervision.
n
Contribute to workforce planning and medical staff support.
n
Promote clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement.
n
Support education, training, and supervision of junior clinicians.
n
Participate in service planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Criteria
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as FACEM or FRACGP/FACRRM with advanced emergency medicine qualifications.
n
Demonstrated Emergency Medicine experience and clinical expertise.
n
Proven leadership and multidisciplinary team collaboration skills.
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Commitment to clinical governance, education, and service improvement.
n
Ability to participate in evenings, weekends, and on-call rosters.
