Your Role:
n
As a Level 2 Onsite Engineer at Blackbird IT, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping technical solutions aligned with our clients' strategic objectives and architecture. Your responsibilities will include:
n
Serving as the face of our company during onsite visits, embodying our values and working with professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency.
n
Implementing technical solutions as part of our project team (server, storage, network, cloud).
n
Providing technical direction and guidance to clients both on-site and remotely.
n
Collaborating with your peers to solve technical issues.
n
Assisting with the pre-sales and quoting process.
n
Planning and maintaining clients' IT requirements.
n
Documenting network information and providing job reports.
n
Troubleshooting clients' technical issues.
n
What We're Looking For:
n
2+ years of Systems Integration and/or consulting related experience in complex environments, with knowledge of server, virtualization, messaging, and networking technologies.
n
Experience with Microsoft 365 (and/or Microsoft Azure) and Windows Server.
n
Experience with VMWare ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V.
n




Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trusted relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of an organization.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
Ability to respond to complex, unusual, intermittent, or undefined malfunctions, requiring the development of recent alternative approaches.
n
A client-centric background and focus.
n
Ability to maintain composure under pressure while acting with a sense of urgency.
n
Capability to work independently to accomplish tasks.
n
Certifications with the following vendors/products will be viewed favourably:
