About the Opportunity

We are currently partnering with a growing Perth-based resources company to recruit a dedicated
Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer
to join their finance team at their office in
Subiaco
.
n
n
Reporting directly to the AP Manager, this newly created dual role is ideal for an experienced accounts payable qualified looking to expand their skill set into end-to-end payroll (or vice versa), supported by a collaborative team environment.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
n
n
End-to-end processing of high-volume Accounts Payable invoices and matching purchase orders.
n
n
Assisting with weekly/fortnightly payroll processing and maintaining employee records.
n
n
Supplier statement reconciliations and handling internal/external payment queries.
n
n
End-of-month reporting, ledger reconciliations, and assisting the wider finance function.
n
n
Assisting in system updates and continuous process improvements.
n
n

Key Requirements
n
n
n
n
Experience:
Prior experience in an Accounts Payable or dual AP/Payroll role within the
mining or resources sector
is highly regarded.
n
n
Systems:
Experience using
Pronto ERP
is strongly preferred.
n
n
Growth Mindset:
An eager attitude and willingness to learn payroll or pick up new systems/processes as the business expands.
n
n
Skills:
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and solid communication skills.
n
