We are seeking a compassionate and experienced
Assistant in Nursing (AIN)
to provide high quality, person centred care to a participant living in the Schofields area.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for an AIN with experience supporting individuals with complex physical care needs. The role involves providing personal care, medication assistance, manual handling, transfers using a ceiling hoist, and supporting the participant with daily living activities in their home.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Assist with personal care and daily living activities
n
Support with safe transfers using a ceiling hoist
n
Administer medication including injections
n
Provide manual handling assistance following safe work practices
n
Assist with domestic duties including household tasks
n
Support with meal preparation
n
Provide transport and community access support where required
n
Maintain professional boundaries and provide reliable, consistent support
n
n
About You:
n
n
Female (essential due to participant preference)
n
Experience in using a ceiling hoist for transfer
(Essential)
n
Highly preferred to have experience administering medications, including injections
n
Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively
n
Honest, reliable, punctual,



and professional
n
Experienced in disability support and personal care
n
Confident with manual handling and transfers
n
Experienced using ceiling hoists (essential)
n
Compassionate and respectful when supporting participants with complex mobility needs
n
n
Essential Requirements:
n
n
Previous disability support experience
n
Manual handling experience
n
Experience with ceiling hoists and transfers
n
Personal care experience
n
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
n
First Aid & CPR Certificate
n
Working rights in Australia
n
Reliable transport and driver's licence preferred
n
n
Shift Availability
Ongoing shifts available, commencing with:
n
n
Tuesday:
7:00am – 1:00pm
n
n
Potential for additional ongoing shifts
based on participant needs and your availability.
n
