Astra Apartments is seeking a reliable and experienced cleaner to join our team in Newcastle. This is a casual position offering consistent work for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality cleaning standards.

About the Role
n
You will be responsible for cleaning and preparing our furnished apartments to a high standard for incoming guests; and maintaining our apartments for long-term corporate guests. This role is essential in ensuring a positive guest experience and maintaining the quality of our properties.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Thorough cleaning of apartments, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, and living areas;
n
Changing and making beds to a professional standard;
n
Replenishing amenities, keeping stock of linen and cleaning supplies, and reporting any maintenance issues;
n




Ensuring apartments are presented to a high standard prior to guest arrival, and maintaining that standard for long-term in-house guests;
n
Work efficiently to meet deadlines between guest check-outs and check-ins.

About You n
n
Previous cleaning experience (hotel, serviced apartments, or similar preferred);
n
Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness;
n
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently;
n
Good time management skills;
n
Ability to work flexible hours, including on short-notice and on weekends, if required.
