Role Overview
n
We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Engineer to take ownership of validation and quality assurance across our ecosystem - including Android and iOS mobile applications, cloud-based services , products and their embedded firmware.
n This role requires a strong technical foundation, a detail-oriented mindset, and a passion for delivering reliable, high-performance products that seamlessly connect hardware and software at great scale

Responsibilities include
n

n
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and validation scripts across mobile, cloud, and firmware layers.
n
n
Validate Android and iOS mobile apps for UI/UX, functionality, performance, and compatibility across devices.
n
n
Verify services and backend APIs (REST, WebSocket, TCP/UDP) for correctness, performance, and security.
n
n
Perform end-to-end system validation, ensuring seamless communication between firmware, cloud, and mobile clients.
n
n
Collaborate closely with development teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects throughout the SDLC.
n
n
Build and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile apps, APIs,



and device-level interactions.
n
n
Validate OTA firmware updates, network resilience, and real-time event handling.
n
n
Establish quality gates within CI/CD pipelines and maintain regression suites.
n
n
Track, document, and communicate test results using up-to-date QA tools and dashboards (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
n
n
Champion best practices for test coverage, traceability, and defect prevention.
n
n
Qualifications / Experience / Skills
n
n
n
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electronics, or related discipline.
n
n
3+ years of experience in QA/QC for mobile, backend, or embedded systems.
n
n
Strong experience testing Android and iOS apps (manual + automation).
n
n
Proficiency with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger, Insomnia).
n
n
Experience with network-level testing (TCP/UDP sockets, MQTT, WebSockets).
n
n
Familiarity with firmware validation and hardware-in-loop testing.
n
n
Knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, PyTest, Playwright, Robot Framework).
n
n
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and RESTful microservice architectures.
n
n




Experience with IoT ecosystems and edge-to-cloud validation.
n
n
Familiarity with security testing, including TLS, token auth, and API rate limits.
n
n
Hands-on with firmware flashing, UART/serial logs, or BLE/Wi-Fi device testing.
n
n
Proficiency in test data management and performance/load testing.
n
n
