As part of our growth strategy, we're on the lookout for a dynamic and motivated
Business Development & Key Account Manager
to join our high-performing Victorian Sales team.
About the Role n
Reporting to the GM – Sales & Business Development, you'll be responsible for managing and expanding key customer relationships while driving new business acrossVictoria.
Your key responsibilities: n
n
Manage a portfolio of existing clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
n
Identify, target, and win new business opportunities in key industries
n
Negotiate and secure short- and long‐term dry hire contracts
n
Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding service and hire solutions
n
Represent Porter Plant professionally across the construction and infrastructure sectors
n
What We're Looking For n




We're after someone who knows the hire industry and understands what it takes to build long-term, trust-based relationships. You're proactive, strategic, and confident in a sales workplace.
You'll bring: n
n
Experience in the
plant hire
,
equipment rental
, or
construction / utility industries
n
Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships across multiple sectors
n
Commercial acumen and experience with pricing, tenders, and contract negotiation
n
A solutions-focused attitude with a collaborative approach to teamwork
n
A current driver's licence and the ability to travel interstate as required
n
