Despatch Coordinator

Are you organised, good with people and experienced in keeping deliveries running smoothly?

Mesh & Bar
is an Australian manufacturer and supplier of reinforcing steel products to the construction industry. We're looking for a reliable Despatch Coordinator to join our busy operations team. This role would cover a 6 month maternity leave with the view to potential permanent opportunities.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Organising daily deliveries, truck loads and transport bookings.
n
n
n
Liaising with drivers, customers and warehouse staff.
n
n
n
Processing orders and preparing delivery documentation.
n
n
n
Coordinating stock availability with production and inventory teams.
n
n
n
Resolving delivery enquiries and keeping despatch records up to date.
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Experience in despatch, transport or warehouse administration.
n
n
n
Solid organisational skills and attention to detail.
n
n
n




Confident communication and basic computer skills.
n
n
n
Ability to juggle competing priorities in a busy environment.
n
n
n
A practical, reliable attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
n
n
Experience in manufacturing, steel or construction materials would be an advantage.
