About the Role: n
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join the Melbourne team, working across a range of apartment buildings, industrial and commercial structures. You'll be involved in the full design process — from concept through to construction documentation — working closely with architects, builders, and clients to deliver well-engineered, buildable solutions.
Key Responsibilities: n
n
Undertake structural design and analysis for apartment, industrial and commercial building projects
n
Prepare structural drawings, specifications, and design documentation
n
Liaise with architects, builders, and other consultants throughout the design and construction phases
n
Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian Standards and the National Construction Code (NCC)
n




Conduct site inspections as required during construction
n
Support the preparation of fee proposals and project scopes
n
Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture
n
About You: n
n
Tertiary qualification in Structural or Civil Engineering
n
Proven and local experience in structural design for residential and/or commercial buildings (essential)
n
Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, timber, steel and masonry
n
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g. ETABS, Space Gass, RAPT)
n
Sound understanding of Australian Standards and NCC requirements
n
Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and project stakeholders
n
CPEng/NER registration (or working towards) highly regarded
n
