What We're Looking For n
n
A formal trade qualification as a Refrigeration Mechanic (Cert III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent experience)
n
Extensive, demonstrated expertise in breakdowns,



servicing and technical fault finding across refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
specifically in the commercial space
n
Solid diagnostic ability and a knack for solving complex technical issues independently
n
Sound knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical controls and componentry
n
A commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
n
Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
n
About the Role n
We're sourcing a Refrigeration Mechanic with extensive hands‐on knowledge of breakdowns, servicing and technical fault finding. As part of the Hextra team, you will:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of refrigeration and air conditioning systems — fault finding is at the core of this role.
n
Respond to emergency breakdown call‐outs and restore systems to peak performance under pressure.
n
Service and maintain industrial, commercial and residential refrigeration systems through structured preventative maintenance.
n
Apply deep technical knowledge to complex faults that others can't resolve.
n
Provide top‐notch customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
