Due to increased demand, we are seeking experienced Workshop Welders to join our team based in Unanderra.
n
This is an excellent prospect for experienced Welders who take pride in their workmanship and are looking for immediate and ongoing work with competitive hourly rates.

Working Hours n
Monday to Thursday 6:30am - 4:00pm
n
Friday 5:30am - 3pm
About the Role n
Working within a busy workshop environment, you will be responsible for completing high-quality welding and fabrication work across a range of projects.
n
The successful candidates will have strong MIG welding experience, excellent attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce quality workmanship while working safely and efficiently.
n
You will be working as part of an experienced workshop team and will be expected to maintain high standards of quality, productivity and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Perform high-quality MIG welding and fabrication work.
n
Read and interpret engineering drawings and workshop plans.
n
Measure, cut,



prepare and fabricate materials to required specifications.
n
Assemble and weld components in accordance with drawings and specifications.
n
Complete welding and fabrication tasks.
n
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
n
Use workshop machinery, hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
n
Identify and report any quality issues or defects.
n
Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
n
Follow all WHS policies, procedures and safety requirements.
n
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
n
Meet required production deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship.
n
Participate in toolbox meetings and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
n
Skills & Experience n
n
Proven experience working as a Workshop Welder.
n
Strong MIG welding experience.
n
Previous experience within a fabrication workshop environment.
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
n
Strong understanding of welding processes and fabrication techniques.
n
Ability to measure, cut, prepare and fabricate materials accurately.
n
Competent using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment.
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
n
Excellent understanding of workplace health and safety.
n
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
n
Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work.
n
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
n
Previous professional welding experience.
n
Strong MIG welding capability.
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
