The opportunity n
An established Australian home improvement group is launching a new direct-to-consumer e-commerce business. The website is being built now, and we are putting together a small, multi-skilled founding team to launch it and grow it. This is a rare chance to build a brand's online presence from the ground up, with the backing of an established business behind you.
The role n
You will own how customers find us and what they see when they arrive. That covers SEO, email, promotions, content and on-site merchandising. You will also keep a close eye on sales performance and help look after our customers.
What you'll do n
n
Plan and deliver SEO across product and category pages
n
Plan and run promotions and marketing email campaigns
n




Merchandise the website and create product visualisations
n
Design web banners and write blog content
n
Create content for social media
n
Report on sales and site statistics, and turn the numbers into action
n
Manage customer accounts and invoices, and respond to customer emails and calls
n
What you'll bring n
n
Experience in e-commerce or digital marketing
n
Hands-on SEO and email marketing skills
n
Strong writing skills and a good visual eye, with design tools such as Canva or Adobe
n
Experience with WordPress or WooCommerce, and comfort with analytics and reporting
n
Organised, detail-focused and customer-minded
n
Home improvement, homewares or furnishings experience is a plus
n
