About the Role n
As a Plant Mechanic at Ravensworth, you'll work alongside a skilled maintenance team responsible for maximising equipment reliability, safety and availability across a world-class mining operation. WesTrac supports Hunter Valley mine sites including Ravensworth through dedicated site-based maintenance teams focused on Caterpillar equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities n
n
Servicing, maintaining and repairing CAT® mobile mining equipment.
n
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
n
Performing preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections.
n
Completing breakdown repairs and component replacements.
n
Utilising CAT diagnostic systems and technologies.
n
Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.
n
Supporting fleet reliability and production outcomes.
n
Skills and Experience n
To succeed in this role, you'll have:
n
n
Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (COP highly regarded).
n
Experience working on heavy mobile equipment.
n
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability.
n
Commitment to safe work practices.
n
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
n
Current Driver's Licence.
n
Highly Desirable n
n
CAT equipment experience.
n
Surface mining experience.
n
Working at Heights.
n
MDG25.
n
Current mining inductions.
n
