About the Role

Clarity Partners is looking for an experienced People Partner to join the Surface Mining division of a leading mining contractor with operations across Australia and Southeast Asia.
n
Working as part of the People & Culture team, this role will partner closely with operational leaders to provide practical people solutions that support workforce capability, leadership effectiveness and a positive employee experience.
n
The People Partner will provide trusted advice across a broad range of people matters, supporting leaders and teams across workforce planning, employee relations, performance, organisational development and other people initiatives aligned with operational and business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with operational leaders to provide practical and commercially focused people advice
n
Support workforce planning, capability development and talent initiatives
n
Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management and workplace matters
n
Coach and support leaders in effective people management and leadership practices
n
Support employee engagement, culture and capability initiatives
n
Provide advice on employment legislation, industrial relations and company policies
n
Use people data and insights to identify workforce trends, risks and opportunities
n
Support the implementation of people strategies aligned with operational and business objectives
n
Partner with leaders through organisational change and workforce initiatives
n




Contribute to broader People & Culture projects and continuous improvement initiatives
n
Identify opportunities to improve people processes, systems and ways of working
n

About You
n
n
Proven experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner or similar senior HR role
n
Strong generalist HR experience across employee relations, performance, workforce planning and organisational development
n
Experience working within mining, resources or another operationally complex environment
n
Experience supporting operational, site-based or geographically dispersed workforces will be highly regarded
n
Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations
n
Confident partnering with and influencing leaders at all levels
n
Commercially minded, with the ability to connect people initiatives to operational and business outcomes
n
Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills
n
Practical and solutions-focused, with solid judgement when managing sensitive people matters
n
Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
n
