Position Details
n
We're looking for a reliable and dedicated
Kitchenhand
to join our
Palm Lake Pelican Waters Golf Club team
. You will play an essential role in supporting our culinary team in our Cardon Restaurant by maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring residents and guests enjoy every dining experience.

This is a
Permanent Part-time position,
working shifts across our breakfast & lunch service primarily on a
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday roster
, covering 7am-3pm weekday shifts and Friday evening dinner shifts (until 9pm).

Responsibilities
n

n
Assist chefs/cook with basic food preparation and service.
n
n
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen and dining areas.
n
n
Wash, sanitise, and store dishes, utensils, and equipment properly.
n
n
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
n
n
Support stock rotation and assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries.
n
n
Empty rubbish bins and ensure waste is disposed of safely and hygienically.
n
n




Clean food preparation areas, fridges, ovens, and other kitchen equipment.
n
n
Follow workplace health and safety guidelines and report hazards promptly.
n
n
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
n
n

Previous experience working in a kitchen, café, or catering environment (preferred).

Knowledge of food hygiene and protected work practices.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required.
