About the Role n
We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented
Draftsperson
to join our dynamic and fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Drafting Manager, you'll work collaboratively with a team of skilled professionals, with the flexibility to work from both our Port Melbourne office and remotely.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Producing accurate working drawings using AutoCAD, including siting plans, floor plans, elevations, internal layouts, electrical plans, and façade details.
n
Ensuring all drawings comply with Building Codes, Council, and Developer requirements.
n
Reviewing site levels and designing site works.
n
Interpreting and incorporating structural engineering and energy efficiency requirements.
n
Liaising with internal teams, consultants, suppliers, and planning authorities.




n
Assisting with town planning documentation and Council submissions.
n
Providing support on production and construction-related queries.
n
About You n
n
A formal qualification in drafting (Diploma or higher).
n
Experience in a similar drafting role, ideally within residential construction.
n
Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to read and produce detailed working drawings.
n
A solid understanding of the Building Regulations, Small Lot Housing Code, and NCC requirements.
n
Strong analytical skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
n
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
n
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and a strong work ethic.
n
