Advanced Educator
to join our growing Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) team in
Liverpool
.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident professional who is committed to creating meaningful experiences for children, mentoring fellow educators, and helping to deliver high-quality programs that inspire learning, fun, and connection.
About the Role
As an Advanced Educator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the service while providing engaging, child-focused experiences that promote wellbeing, inclusion, and development.
You will work collaboratively with the leadership team to create a secure, welcoming, and stimulating environment where children can thrive before school, after school, and during vacation care programs.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading and facilitating engaging educational and recreational experiences
Building positive relationships with children, families, schools, and colleagues
Supporting and mentoring educators within the team
Encouraging children's voice, choice, and independence
Assisting with program planning and documentation
Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment
Promoting active play, creativity, STEM activities, sports, arts, and wellbeing initiatives
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
What We're Looking For
Previous experience working in OSHC, childcare, education,



or a similar setting
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
A genuine passion for supporting children and their development
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment
Reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to work
Flexible availability across before and after school care shifts
Essential Requirements
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
Completion of Mandatory Child Protection Training
Relevant qualification in Education, Children's Services, Community Services, or currently studying towards one
