About the role
n
As a Support Worker - Catering, your role will be to assist a diverse range of Aged Care Residents by assisting the cook meet their nutritional needs.
n
n
Located in Waratah, close to train and bus transport.
n
Newcastle is a thriving town with some of the worlds best beaches close by.
n
St Martin De Porres provides care and services to 41 Older people
n

Key Responsibilities

General kitchen hand duties apply
n
Support the cook with meal service
n
ensuring a clean setting and work space

About you

Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself

Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation

Ability to work independently and effectively manage time

Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
