The Construction Supervisor role at Brett Harvey Design & Construction is a critical position
n
that oversees all aspects of residential construction of new homes and directly reports to the
n
Construction & Warranty Manager at Brett Harvey Design & Construction. The role is
n
responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified
n
quality standards. The Construction Supervisor also plays a crucial role in maintaining strong
n
WHS standards and practices. The role involves coordinating with various internal and
n
external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and clients, to achieve successful
n
project outcomes within a supportive and collaborative work workplace and culture.
Responsibilities include: n
n
Complete weekly Construction updates with the Construction & Warranty
n
Manager, ensuring that each project is forward scheduled via the software operating system (framework and Build pass)
n
Proactive and scheduling the allocation of materials and trades to job sites to ensure the timely construction of homes with the support of the Construction and Warranty Manager
n
Ensure that homes are completed on time and within the allocated budget
n




Complete weekly site safety checks on every project and log communication via Build pass, e.g., Toolbox talks, Contractor compliance and general site safety requirements as per company policies and procedures.
n
Oversee assigned construction projects and monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
n
Meet contractual conditions set out within internal and external building contracts
n
Liaise and manage clients' expectations regarding post-contract variations. Post-contract variation requests must be sent through to the building services team for costing before completion of works
n
Qualifications: n
n
Motivated, well organised, customer-focused and able to prioritise tasks. Must be flexible, enjoy implementing new processes and look to add value to the business.
n
Strong ability to identify defects or problems proactively and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems in an efficient manner
n
A Building Trade Certificate or tertiary education in Construction Management.
n
5 years of experience within the Residential Project Home Industry is desired
n
A strong project management ability to coordinate multiple service providers and suppliers to complete homes expediently
n
