Job Description
We are seeking a large number of experienced roofers to join our construction team on a new build leisure project in the Somerset Region.
n
The role will involve installation of roofing and wall cladding systems across a large steel-framed buildings. We are looking for reliable tradespeople who can work safely, follow installation drawings and contribute to maintaining good productivity and workmanship on site.
Key Duties n
n
Install temporary and permanent edge protection as required
n
Install roof safety mesh
n
Install roof insulation and blanket systems
n
Install metal roof sheeting
n
Install external wall cladding/sheeting
n
Install gutters, flashings and downpipes
n
Complete associated roofing trims, penetrations and weatherproofing
n
Work from construction drawings and installation details
n
Coordinate with site supervision and other trades
n




Maintain good housekeeping and secure work areas
n
Comply with site SWMS, WHS procedures and daily pre-start requirements
n
Inspect completed work and rectify defects where required
n
Requirements n
n
Previous experience in commercial or industrial roofing/cladding
n
Construction White Card
n
Working at Heights certification
n
EWP licence/ticket preferred
n
Experience working from EWPs and around structural steel
n
Good understanding of roofing and cladding installation requirements
n
Strong focus on safety and quality
n
Reliable, punctual and able to work within a team
n
Own basic hand tools and PPE preferred
n
n
