About the role A large international mining organisation is seeking a Senior Accountant on an initial 3 month basis with the potential for extension or a permanent transition. The business is in an extremely strong cashflow position and operates high-quality assets in numerous locations. Key responsibilities n

Managing the month end process for a significant entity
n
Support with the preparation and lodgement of tax compliance in partnership with external advisors
n
Assist with annual reporting and year-end close
n
Key liaison for internal audit requests and queries
n
Contribute towards process improvement initiatives
n
What we're looking for n
n
CPA/CA qualification with strong financial accounting experience. Experience in Mining & Resources sector is highly advantageous but not essential
n
Experience in a medium-large business framework using ERP systems
n
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to manage complex issues
n
Candidates that are immediately available and prepared to work 5 days on-site
