Job Description n
The Payroll Officer will be responsible for:
n
n
End-to-end processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
n
Maintaining employee records including commencements, terminations and employment changes
n
Processing complex payroll calculations including leave, overtime, superannuation and statutory obligations
n
Managing PAYG, payroll tax, workers compensation and long service leave requirements
n
Responding to payroll-related employee enquiries and providing exceptional customer service
n
Supporting payroll system workflows and data integrity
n
Assisting with payroll reporting, reconciliations and compliance activities
n
Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency
n
The Successful Applicant n
The successful Payroll Officer should have:
n
n




Previous experience in a high volume Payroll Officer position in a complex environment
n
Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements
n
Knowledge of termination calculations, superannuation, PAYG and payroll tax
n
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
n
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
n
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
n
Available for a 12 month contract
n
