The Opportunity n
We are looking for a reliable, motivated and enthusiastic
Sales
Representative/Merchandiser
to join our team.
n
This is a full-time, field-based role where your focus will be maintaining solid relationships with our existing customers and pursuing new business to grow sales across our full product range.
n
Reporting to our Bread and Grocery Account Managers, you will become the face of the Irrewarra brand across Melbourne and surrounds.
n
Working across our full range (Bread, Granola, Biscuits & Festive), you will be responsible for:
n
n
Visiting existing customers on a regular basis.
n
Building strong relationships with store owners and managers.
n
Ensuring customers receive outstanding service and support.
n
Merchandising and maintaining attractive product displays.
n
Monitoring stock levels and identifying opportunities to improve product ranging.
n
Seeking out and developing new business opportunities.
n
Performing tastings at our customers stores.
n
Promoting new and seasonal products.
n




Providing feedback on customer requirements, competitor activity and market trends.
n
Working closely with our Bread and Grocery Account Managers to implement sales strategies.
n
Completing customer visit reports and following up actions.
n
n
This role involves regular travel throughout Melbourne and surrounds, with occasional travel to regional Victorian areas. Weekly travel to Irrewarra's main bakery just outside Colac to attend training and/or meetings is an essential requirement of the position.

You'll be someone who: n

Is reliable, organised and self-motivated.

Has experience working with an established brand.
n
Takes pride in representing the Irrewarra brand.
n
Has an eye for merchandising and identifying sales opportunities.
n
Is comfortable working independently and travelling between customer sites.
n
Is willing and able to travel weekly to Irrewarra's main bakery
n
Is physically capable of lifting and moving stock when required.
n
Has experience in sales, merchandising, FMCG, retail or customer service (preferred but not essential).
n
Holds a formal qualification in sales and/or marketing.
n
Recent graduates with a relevant qualification are encouraged to apply and will be considered.

Holds a current Australian driver's licence, has access to a reliable vehicle, and has Australian work rights.
n
