Job Description
Budby Yaga Group are seeking experienced Diesel
Fitter/Serviceperson
who can operate independently, support field servicing activities, and maintain strong diagnostic capability in a fast-paced mining environment, while delivering high-quality servicing, repairs, inspections and breakdown support across a diverse fleet of mine-site ancillary equipment.
THE GIG n
n
Carry out in-field repairs on ancillary mining equipment
n
Perform equipment inspections to determine condition, compliance and readiness to return to service
n
Conduct breakdown maintenance, including troubleshooting, repairs and component replacements
n
Refuel, service and maintain a range of mine-site plant and equipment
n
Operate, maintain and restock the service truck to ensure readiness for daily tasks
n
Maintain accurate service records, equipment logs and compliance documentation
n
Uphold all site safety procedures, environmental requirements and company policies
n
Work both independently and within a team environment
n
MUST HAVES n
n
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Diesel Fitter / Heavy Equipment Mechanic)
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
RIISAM212E – Service Mine Plant and Equipment
n
RIIHAN311F Integrated tool carrier
n
High risk Forklift or RIIHAN201E Forklift
n
High Risk Rigging or Dogging for use of the jib
n
Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence or RIIVEH307 – Heavy Rigid Vehicle competency
n
Current CBM
n
Current Standard 11 and BMA Core
n
ABOUT YOU n
n
Experience working on CAT Dozers (D11T and D6) and similar heavy mining equipment
n
High-level technical skills across a diverse fleet of equipment
n
Outstanding troubleshooting and diagnostic capability
n
Prior experience in mining service roles (highly regarded)
n
BMA site experience (highly regarded)
