Beefy's Pies
are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic
Pastry Cook
to join our friendly team at our Kunda Park production facility. If you enjoy variety in your day, working as part of a team, and being involved in a fast-paced food environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

Beefy's are proud to produce a mouth-watering range of pies, pasties, sausage rolls, slices, tarts, and cakes. Our award-winning products are enjoyed across Southeast Queensland and NSW, and with continued growth, we're expanding our team. Our busy Kunda Park facility supports 16 retail stores as well as a large and growing wholesale customer base.

About the Role
n
This is a hands-on, physically active role.

Full-time position
n
Monday to Friday
n
Hours between 3am and 4pm as required
n
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Making a wide range of pastry goods both savoury and sweet
n
Ensuring compliance to Food Safety & HACCP principles and Company Policies & Procedures
n
Working safely & adhering to WHS policies
n
Production line duties
n
Leading and guiding Apprentices & Production Assistants as required
n
Preparing ingredients
n
Packing duties
n
Cleaning and general housekeeping
n
Ensuring stock rotation
n




Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
Essential:
n
n
A Certificate III in Cake and Pastry or other relevant qualification in Pastry Cooking
n
A passion for baking and producing high quality products.
n
Physically fit (able to lift up to 25kg)
n
Reliable, punctual, and honest
n
Robust attention to detail
n
Positive attitude with team and safety focused mindset
n
Ability to work independently and show initiative
n
Own reliable transport
n
Willingness to undergo pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screening
n
Australian Permanent Residency
n
n
Desirable:
n
n
Previous experience in a similar environment
n
n
