Gold Coast Equine Clinic isn't just another vet clinic we're an equine-exclusive facility, looking to redefine the standard of veterinary care.

We're looking for a Veterinary Receptionist who thrives in precision, pace, and professionalism - not someone who just answers phones, but someone who begins the rockstar experience that dealing with our business should provide and organises the diary of our team ensuring we deliver ***** to our clients every time they deal with us.
The Role n
You'll be the touch point between clients, vets, and operations - the voice clients trust, and the first impression that defines their experience. This is not an entry-level admin job it's the front line of a high-performing equine veterinary team, so we are looking for someone spectacular.
What your day looks like: n
Understanding our billing processes, creating invoices and taking payments.
n
Responding to email and phone enquiries (The ability to multitask on multiple lines a bonus!)
n
Coordinating on-site, ambulatory, and emergency appointments
n
Communicating with clients, vets, and support staff with clarity and confidence
n
Maintaining smooth clinic flow under pressure
n




Upholding confidentiality, compliance, and professional presentation at all times.
About You n
You love communicating with people and are disciplined, self motivated and detail-obsessed.
What the ideal applicant will be able to bring to GCEC: n
Prior veterinary or medical reception experience preferred but not essential
n
Equine knowledge - to a basic level a must
n
Mastery of phone and client communication
n
The ability to multitask with accuracy in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
n
A professional, calm, and decisive presence when things get busy
n
A high level of computer literacy and organisational efficiency
n
A mindset that aligns with performance, positivity and a "can do" attitude.
