Canteen is looking for a reliable and experienced
Cook or Kitchen Hand
who is ready to step up and grow with our kitchen team.

We're a busy ramen restaurant located at Dairy Road in Fyshwick, known for our handmade noodles, tori-style ramen, and fast-paced yet supportive kitchen environment.
n
We're looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, works well under pressure, and is keen to take on more responsibility as part of a solid team.
Key responsibilities

Food preparation and basic cooking
n
Preparing ingredients and maintaining prep levels
n
Dishwashing and general kitchen duties when required
n
Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas
n
Receiving, rotating,



and storing stock correctly
n
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
n
About you
n
n
Previous experience working in a busy commercial kitchen
n
Confident with food preparation and basic cooking duties
n
Able to work efficiently during busy service periods
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
Reliable, organised, and willing to learn
n
Strong understanding of kitchen cleanliness and food safety
n
Availability across weekdays and weekends is preferred
