This role is an exciting prospect to contribute and learn within a supportive and driven team! Key Responsibilities and Duties:
n

Provide professional accounting, taxation and business advisory services to a portfolio of individual and business clients.
n
Prepare financial statements, management accounts and other financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards and legislative requirements
n
Prepare and review income tax returns and related tax compliance requirements for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and other entities

Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) and other statutory and taxation-related lodgements
n
Assist clients with tax planning and provide practical taxation advice based on their individual circumstances and business objectives
n
Assist clients with budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, financial planning and analysis to support business decision-making
n
Review and maintain clients' accounting records and general ledgers, including reconciliations and other accounting functions as required
n
Identify financial, taxation and compliance issues and provide appropriate advice and recommendations to clients
n
Maintain strong working relationships with clients and develop an understanding of their businesses, financial objectives and ongoing needs
n
Ensure all client work is completed accurately, efficiently and withing required deadlines
n
Maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgement when dealing with sensitive client financial and commercial information
n
Provide general accounting, taxation and business advisory support to clients and other team members as required
n

Essential Criteria:
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
n
At least 1 year of previous experience in an accounting or finance related role;
n
Strong IT skills and proficiency in using accounting software and financial management systems;
n
Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
n
n
