This is a hands on role for someone who genuinely understands social media - someone who is excited to capture content, create posts, jump on relevant trends, engage with our community and bring our marketing calendar to life every day.
n
You'll work closely with our wider marketing team to turn campaigns, product launches, brand moments and everyday activity at Linden Cook into engaging social content.
n
We're looking for someone who is comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, has a strong eye for content and understands what makes people stop, watch, engage and share.
About the Role n
The key responsibilities of the Social Media Coordinator are:
Social Media & Content n
n
Manage the day-to-day execution of Linden Cook's Instagram, TikTok & Pinterest channels.
n
Execute the social media component of the broader marketing calendar, including campaigns, product launches, events and key brand moments.
n
Post and maintain an active presence across our social channels daily.
n
Capture regular photo and video content across our studio, retail store, team, products, events and behind-the-scenes moments.
n
Be comfortable appearing in content when appropriate, including TikToks, Reels and other social-first formats.
n
Edit short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok and Stories.
n
Create Instagram carousels, Stories, grid posts and other social assets.
n
Write social captions and supporting copy in the Linden Cook tone of voice.
n
Schedule and publish content across social platforms.
n
Trends & Social-First Thinking n
n
Stay across emerging TikTok and Instagram trends, formats, sounds and platform changes.
n
Identify relevant trends and quickly translate them into content that feels natural to the Linden Cook brand.
n
Proactively bring new content ideas,
formats and opportunities to the team.
n
Understand the difference between simply following a trend and creating content that is relevant to our customer and brand.
n
Keep a close eye on what is performing across jewellery, fashion, beauty, lifestyle and the wider social landscape.
n
Community Management n
n
Manage day-to-day engagement across Instagram and TikTok.
n
Respond to comments and social messages in a warm, timely and brand-appropriate way.
n
Identify opportunities to build conversation, strengthen relationships and grow engagement with our audience.
n
Escalate customer service enquiries to the appropriate team where required.
n
Campaigns, Launches & Events n
n
Support the social execution of product launches, collaborations, campaigns and events.
n
Capture real-time content at launches, events and brand activations.
n
Work with the wider marketing team to ensure content is captured ahead of key marketing moments.
n
Turn larger campaign concepts into the day-to-day social content required to bring them to life.
n
Ensure social channels remain consistent with broader brand and marketing activity.
n
Regularly review Instagram and TikTok performance and report on key metrics.
n
Monitor reach, engagement, follower growth, views, shares, saves and content performance.
n
Identify which content formats, topics and creative approaches are performing and use these insights to inform future content.
n
Report on social performance and proactively recommend opportunities for improvement.
n
Test new formats, posting styles and creative approaches to continually improve performance.
n
Influencer & Community Relationships n
n
Identify and research relevant influencers, creators and brand advocates who align with Linden Cook.
n
Build and maintain targeted influencer lists for product launches, gifting, events and ongoing brand opportunities.
n
Manage influencer outreach and communication through Instagram, including the primary Instagram inbox.
n
Coordinate and host influencer appointments in our Fitzroy store, ensuring each interaction reflects the Linden Cook brand and customer experience.
n
Build genuine, ongoing relationships with creators and identify opportunities for organic content, gifting and collaboration.
n
Keep track of influencer activity, content shared and potential future opportunities.
n
Work closely with the wider marketing team to support influencer campaigns, launches and events.
n
About You n
n
You have hands-on experience managing social media for a brand, ideally within fashion, beauty, jewellery, retail or lifestyle.
n
You genuinely understand Instagram and TikTok and use them regularly.
n
You know how to capture strong social-first content using a phone and are confident editing short-form video.
n
You have a strong visual eye and can create content that feels polished while still feeling natural to social media.
n
You are comfortable using tools such as Canva and CapCut or similar platforms.
n
You are happy and confident appearing in content yourself when needed.

You follow trends naturally and understand how to decide which ones are relevant to a brand.
n
You have solid written communication skills and can adapt to an established brand tone of voice.
n
You are highly organised and able to manage a consistent daily posting schedule alongside campaigns, launches and reactive content.
n
You are proactive and naturally look for content opportunities rather than waiting to be told what to post.
n
You are comfortable working in a fast-growing business where things move quickly and opportunities can come up unexpectedly.
