nThe Opportunity n
n
Deliver signalling power and low-voltage electrical design for rail train-control modernisation in Perth. Reporting to engineering leadership, you will develop design documentation and support construction teams through surveys, reviews and technical resolution.
n

nYour Responsibilities n
n
n
n
Prepare and review power calculations, drawings, models, specifications and technical reports.
n
n
Coordinate signalling, electrical, communications, civil and structural design interfaces.
n
n
Conduct inspections, surveys, constructability checks and interdisciplinary reviews.
n
n
Apply Safety in Design, WHS, environmental and ISO **** quality requirements.
n
n
Assess technical risks, develop value improvements and support procurement and construction.
n
n
Clarify requirements and resolve design queries with project stakeholders.
n
n
n
n
nRequirementsSkills,
Education And Requirements n
n
n
n




A bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
n
n
At least five years designing electrical infrastructure, particularly LV, ELV or signalling power.
n
n
Knowledge of Australian rail environments, AS/NZS ****, AS/RISSB and rail authority requirements, including PTA WA.
n
n
Design and drafting software proficiency, such as MicroStation or AutoCAD.
n
n
Robust design-process, Safety in Design and quality-management knowledge.
n
n
Eligibility for Chartered status, relevant professional registration and RIW accreditation is preferred.
n
