There's plenty of variety! You could be serving coffee and food, helping a traveller choose a souvenir, introducing someone to a local product or keeping our shop looking welcoming and beautifully presented.
Key responsibilities n
n
Giving every customer a happy, warm and friendly welcome
n
Serving food, drinks and treats, and helping with food preparation
n
Helping customers discover our merchandise, local produce and gifts
n
Operating the till, replenishing stock and maintaining displays
n
Keeping service areas clean, organised and ready for a busy day
n
Sharing a little of the Dog's history and your local knowledge with visitors
n
About you n
n
Enjoys people and starts a conversation naturally
n
Notices the little things and offers help without waiting to be asked
n
Is reliable,



practical and happy to pitch in
n
Takes pride in presentation and works well with a team
n
Can keep a positive attitude when things get busy
n
Available to work weekends and during holiday periods, including school holidays and public holidays
n
Experience in hospitality, retail or coffee making would be welcome, but a great attitude and willingness to learn matter just as much
n
