Due to continual company expansion, we are seeking an experienced Appliance Service Technician to join our team.
n
This is a diverse position where you will be responsible for service, maintenance and repairs across a range of
domestic/commercial
jobs for clients within private, corporate, government indoor and outdoor facilities.
n
Reporting directly to the Service coordinator, your duties will encompass servicing a high quality and varied clientele base.
Day to day responsibilities will include: n
n
Breakdown service, fault diagnoses, repairs, testing and commissioning of electrical appliances
n
Ensurea continual high level of customer service and satisfaction
n
Quality workmanship while maintaining company standards and safety
n
Provide training and support to apprentices
n
Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
n
Perform duties in and around the Townsville North Queensland area
n
What are we looking for? n
The ideal candidate for this position will be a passionate and results focused service Technician and or electrician.
n




The key to success in this position is excellent technical skills accompanied by a strong service ethic with good written and verbal communication skills; the following skills and attributes are highly considered.

Current Queensland Restricted and or Electrical licence
n
Current CPR/ LVR
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
n
Prior experience in
domestic/commercial
fieldsDemonstrated knowledge of Industry Standards
n
Understanding of Safe Work Practices, OHSE Procedures
n
Willingness to adhere to site appropriate procedures
n
Strong sense of initiative, ability to operate in a fast-paced setting
n
Possess confidence in personnel skills to make decisions
n
