An established Australian Not-for-Profit is continuing to invest in its data capability and is looking for an experienced
Snowflake Data Engineer
to join its growing data team.
n
This is a hands-on engineering role where you will help build and enhance the organisation's modern data platform, improving how data is integrated, transformed and made available across the business.
The role n
Working closely with the broader Data & Analytics team, you will:
n
n
Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data solutions within
Snowflake
n
Develop robust
ETL/ELT pipelines
to ingest and transform data from multiple source systems
n
Build and optimise data models to support analytics, reporting and downstream data products
n
Write high-quality
SQL
and improve the performance and reliability of existing data processes
n
Work with cloud-based data and integration technologies
n
Implement appropriate data quality, testing, monitoring and engineering standards
n
Partner with analysts, BI developers and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
n
Contribute to the continued development of the organisation's modern data platform and engineering practices
n
About you n
You will be an experienced Data Engineer with solid hands-on experience working with
Snowflake in a production environment
.
n
Ideally, you will bring:
n
n
Strong commercial experience with
Snowflake
n
Advanced
SQL
skills
n
Experience developing
ETL/ELT and data pipelines
n
Strong understanding of data modelling and modern data warehouse concepts
n
Experience with
Python
for data engineering
n
Exposure to cloud platforms such as
AWS or Azure
n
Experience with modern
transformation/orchestration
tools would be highly regarded
n
Understanding of CI/CD, version control and good software engineering practices
n
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
n
