About the Role n
Due to continued project growth, we are seeking experienced and reliable Cairns based Plant & Machinery Operators to join our team. Note this is not a FIFO role.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Operate plant and machinery including excavators, loaders, rollers, graders, and other equipment
n
Perform daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance
n
Work alongside site supervisors and team members to meet project timelines
n
Maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance.
n
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Civil Plant Operator in the construction industry
n
Hold a current driver's license and relevant
tickets/certificates
n
Strong understanding of construction methods,



safety procedures and environmental best practices
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
n
Be able to travel to remote sites when needed
n
Understanding of GPS and UTS
n
About You n
n
Proven experience as a Plant or Machinery Operator in civil construction
n
Relevant tickets and licences (e.g. Excavator, Loader, Roller, etc.)
n
Current Construction White Card
n
Strong understanding of site safety standards and procedures
n
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
n
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
n
HR licence (desirable but not essential)
n
