Cairns Colonial Club Resort is a self-rated four star low-rise Resort property situated on elevenacres of award winning tropical gardens. The Resort has 345 rooms with2 Restaurants and 1 bar, 3 swimming pools and a fully equipped Conference Centre.

We areseeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to work in Thirsty Flamingo our Poolside Bar and Cafe. Permanent Full Time role. Must have an RSA andexperience in a similar role. Role includes breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts and weekends, but

The successful applicant will display:
n
Previous experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor in similar role preferably in a Hotel/Resort environment
n
Ability to lead by example and oversee Food and Beverage Attendants and their performance whilst on shift
n
A strong Work ethic with a passion and enthusiasm for great customer service
n
Excellent organisational andtime management skills
n




Ability to work autonomously and produce excellentservice in a rapid paced environment
n
Be able to implement, monitor and maintain Food and Beverage standard operating procedures.
n
Conduct staff training for staff both on and off the job, facilitate multiskilling and effective induction for new staff.
n
Oversee rosters and monitor daily attendance, timekeeping, sick leave and annual holidays of all service staff in collaboration with the Director of Food & Beverage and Asst. Food and Beverage Manager.
n
Proven knowledge and experiencein making Cocktails and great Coffee
n
