Are you ready to make a mark in the high-end building materials industry? This is a very interesting opportunity for an experienced business development professional to lead growth in a dynamic market, take ownership of all sales, and step up into a sales leadership role.
Key Responsibilities n

Lead the development and execution of a targeted sales plan, engaging with fabricators, distributors, architects, interior designers, builders, and developers to maximise opportunities
n
Cultivate relationships with key professionals and build strong partnerships
n
Drive end-to-end sales processes from prospecting and qualification to negotiation, account onboarding, and project conversion
n
Introduce and expand the trade-partner program
n
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions, increasing brand visibility and positioning as a leader in luxury surface solutions
n
Maintain detailed CRM records, tracking opportunities, project stages, and market intelligence
n




Stay informed on market and industry trends to identify opportunities and customer needs within the high-end surface sector
n
Skills & Experience n
n
Proven success in B2B sales or business development within building materials, stone, surfaces, tiles, cabinetry, or related sectors
n
Robust track record of acquiring new accounts, developing long-term relationships, and managing a multi-stage sales pipeline
n
Confident communicator skilled in consultative sales, negotiation, presentations, and relationship management
n
Self-motivated, commercially astute, and adept at working independently
n
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
n
Hold a current Australian driver's licence and demonstrate willingness to travel regularly across Melbourne
n
An understanding of the high-end construction and design market with an existing networkis highly regarded
n
