Salary: $122,264 – $182,143 per year

About the Role
n
An excellent opportunity exists for Emergency Medicine Registrars to join a high-acuity regional service in Central Australia. The Emergency Department manages ~50,000 presentations annually, offering exposure to complex adult and paediatric cases rarely seen elsewhere.
n
You will work in a supportive, consultant-led environment, developing skills in resuscitation, acute care, and clinical leadership. Strong supervision and teaching support progression toward independent decision-making and procedural competence.
n
Rotational opportunities include ICU, Paediatrics, Anaesthetics, Retrieval, Aboriginal Health, Alcohol & Other Drugs, and Palliative Care, supporting broad clinical development.

Key Responsibilities

Manage emergency presentations across diverse acuity
n
Lead and assist in resuscitation and critical care
n
Participate in teaching, simulation,



and clinical reviews
n
Supervise junior staff and contribute to team leadership
n
Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
n
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
n
n
Essential Criteria
n
n
AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
n
ACEM or relevant training pathway eligibility
n
Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
n
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
n
Commitment to culturally safe, patient-centred care
