What You'll Be Responsible For: n
n
Lead freight and logistics consulting engagements across transport procurement, network optimisation and carrier strategy
n
Conduct freight spend reviews and cost analysis to identify savings, service improvements and operational efficiencies
n
Design and execute transport sourcing and tender processes across road, rail, air and sea freight
n
Evaluate 3PL, 4PL, freight forwarding and transport provider solutions to support client requirements
n
Analyse freight networks, routing, carrier performance and service levels to optimise logistics outcomes
n
Build business cases, financial models and benchmarking analysis to support strategic decisions
n
Facilitate client workshops and translate logistics challenges into practical, commercially viable solutions
n
Develop freight strategies, procurement roadmaps and implementation plans
n




Present recommendations and insights to senior stakeholders and executive teams
n
Manage consulting projects to ensure delivery against scope, budget and quality objectives
n
Collaborate across supply chain strategy, procurement and transformation teams
n
Support business development activities and grow existing client relationships
n
What You Bring: n
n
Experience in freight, transport or logistics consulting, procurement, pricing or commercial operations
n
Solid understanding of domestic and international freight markets, including road, rail, sea and air freight
n
Experience managing transport tenders, carrier negotiations or freight procurement initiatives
n
Background working within a 3PL, 4PL, freight forwarding, carrier or logistics services environment
n
Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting freight data, rates, spend and service performance
n
Experience developing business cases, commercial evaluations and cost-saving initiatives
n
Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and client teams
n
Strong project management and client relationship skills
n
Advanced Excel and data modelling capability preferred
n
Knowledge of transport management systems (TMS), freight analytics and logistics technologies advantageous
n
