About the Role n
As Sous Chef, you'll be second-in-command in the kitchen and play a key role in maintaining quality, consistency, and team performance.
n
You will:
n
Lead service with precision, ensuring every dish meets our standards
n
Run the kitchen confidently in the absence of the Head Chef
n
Oversee prep, sections, and service flow during busy periods
n
Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
n
Maintain consistency in flavours, spice balance, and presentation
n
Assist with ordering,



stock control, and minimising wastage
n
Uphold strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
n
Work closely with FOH to deliver a smooth guest experience
What We're Looking For n
Minimum
1–3 years experience as a Sous Chef
n
Preferably Strong experience in
Indian cuisine
(curries, tandoor, spices)
n
Background in a
high-volume restaurant setting
n
High-volume restaurant experience from Indian cuisine type is highly preferred
n
Proven leadership skills and ability to run a busy service
n
Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure
n
Passion for food, hospitality, and team development
n
High standards of cleanliness and kitchen discipline
Requirements n
Full working rights in Australia
n
Availability to work
weekends and evenings
n
$80,000 – $95,000 + superannuation
