What you'll be doing n
You'll be hands-on preparing and cooking fish and chips and other takeaway menu items, with a solid focus on fryer operations, seafood preparation and maintaining consistent quality during busy service periods.
n
You'll manage your preparation, monitor cooking times and ensure orders are completed accurately and efficiently. Working closely with the team, you'll help maintain a clean, organised kitchen while following food safety and handling standards.
What we're looking for n
n
Previous experience working as a Cook in a commercial kitchen or takeaway food outlet
n
Experience preparing and cooking seafood, particularly fish and chips, highly regarded
n
Confidence operating commercial fryers and managing multiple orders
n
Ability to work efficiently in a busy, high-volume food service environment
n
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and safe food handling
n
Valuable organisation, attention to detail and a positive team-focused attitude
n
Flexibility to work a rotating roster based on operational requirements
n
