reliable and motivated Gardening Assistant
to join our team and work alongside our Head Gardener.

casual position with a minimum of three days per week

Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm (no weekend work)

About the Role n




You will assist with maintaining and presenting a variety of gardens and landscapes to a high standard. Duties include:

Brush cutting and line trimming
n
Push mowing and lawn maintenance
n
Hedge trimming and shaping
n
Pruning of shrubs and small trees
n
Weeding and garden detailing
n
Leaf blowing and site clean-up
n
Assisting with general garden maintenance tasks as required
n
n
This is a
physically active outdoor role
that involves working in varying weather conditions. Applicants must be comfortable performing manual work and maintaining a steady, productive pace throughout the day.
Skills and Experience n
To be successful in this role, applicants should have:
n
n
Minimum 12 months experience
in garden maintenance or landscaping
n
Competence using
garden power tools and hand tools
(mowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, blowers, etc.)
n
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
Valuable physical fitness and ability to undertake manual outdoor work
n
Strong reliability, punctuality and attention to detail
n
Ability to work well within a small professional team
n
Working With Children Check
and
Police Check
, or willingness to obtain these
n
Applicants should
live within a reasonable commuting distance of Park Orchards
to ensure reliable
7:00am starts
n
