This is a wide-ranging role suited to someone with broad agricultural experience who is comfortable operating machinery, maintaining farm infrastructure and assisting with cropping, pasture and general property development activities.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Current unrestricted Australian work rights

Current Driver's Licence
n
n
Previous practical farming or agricultural experience
n
n
Experience operating tractors and agricultural machinery
n
n
Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions
n
n
Ability to work independently and take initiative
n
n
Strong commitment to safe work practices
n
n

About the Role n
You will undertake a broad range of farming, machinery operation, infrastructure development and property maintenance activities across our Coominya operations.
n
This is a practical role where no two days are necessarily the same. We are looking for someone who can confidently contribute across day-to-day farm operations and assist with maintaining and improving the property.
Hours n
Monday to Friday – 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
Key Responsibilities n

General farming and property maintenance
n
n
Fencing construction, repairs and maintenance
n
n
Welding and fabrication associated with farm maintenance and infrastructure
n
n
Development and maintenance of farm water systems
n
n
Tractor and agricultural machinery operation
n
n
Operating spray rigs and spreading equipment
n
n
Planting and pasture establishment activities
n
n
Hay making and silage operations
n
n
General machinery and equipment checks
n
n
Assisting with farm improvement and development projects
n
n
General farm labouring and upkeep duties
n
n
Working safely in accordance with WHS requirements and site procedures
n
About You n
You are a reliable,



practical and self-motivated Farmhand who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining equipment, infrastructure and agricultural land.
n
You are comfortable working independently when required, while also contributing positively as part of a small farm team.

Previous experience in several of the following areas would be highly regarded:

Fencing
n
n
Welding and basic fabrication
n
n
Farm water systems and infrastructure
n
n
Tractor and agricultural machinery operation
n
n
Spray rig operation
n
n
Fertiliser or soil amendment spreading
n
n
Planting and cropping activities
n
n
Hay making
n
n
Silage production
n
n
Pasture management
n
n
General farm and property maintenance
n
n
Machinery maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting
n
n
Experience operating
John Deere machinery and GreenStar GPS systems
would be advantageous but is
not essential
