Emerald Superclinic Pharmacy is looking for an experienced Senior Pharmacy Assistant / Dispensary Technician to join our team in a full-time position.
n
This is a key onsite role for someone who is passionate about exceptional customer service and patient care, enjoys responsibility and is confident supporting the day-to-day operations of a community pharmacy.
n
Working closely with the Pharmacist in Charge and Pharmacy Owner, you will be a key senior member of the pharmacy team, with responsibility across day-to-day retail operations, dispensary support and store administration.

You will also:

Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with our patients and community
n
n
Assist patients with their health and wellbeing needs and refer appropriately to the pharmacist
n
n
Work closely with the Pharmacist in Charge to support high-quality patient care
n
n
Support dispensary workflow under pharmacist supervision
n
n
Coordinate the day-to-day retail activities of the pharmacy
n
n
Provide guidance and support to junior pharmacy assistants
n
n
Maintain high standards of merchandising, store presentation and promotional execution
n
n
Coordinate stock ordering, stock rotation, inventory control and stocktake activities
n
n
Process invoices, credits and associated paperwork
n
n




Maintain customer accounts and assist with account queries
n
n
Complete cash reconciliation, banking and associated administrative tasks
n
n
Prepare routine reports and provide information to the Pharmacist in Charge and Pharmacy Owner
n
n
Monitor day-to-day retail performance, identify discrepancies and elevate issues where required
n
n
Ensure operational and administrative processes are completed accurately and on time
n
n
Identify opportunities to improve workflow, service and the overall patient experience
n
About you n
Previous community pharmacy experience is essential.
n
We are looking for someone who:
n
n
n
Has a strong customer service focus and enjoys helping people
n
n
Has solid community pharmacy experience
n
n
Has experience working within a dispensary and/or relevant dispensary technician training
n
n
Is operating at, or capable of operating at, a
Pharmacy Assistant Level 3 or Level 4
n
n
Is confident taking responsibility for day-to-day retail and administrative tasks
n
n
Is organised and able to prioritise effectively
n
n
Has strong stock control, merchandising and retail skills
n
n
Is comfortable with invoicing, customer accounts, banking and routine reporting
n
n




Communicates well with pharmacists, team members, and patients
n
n
Is reliable, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision
n
n
Takes pride in maintaining high standards and following through on responsibilities
n
